Victor Ganzi biography
Victor F. Ganzi serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company. He has served on the Board since January 4, 2016 and as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board since January 1, 2019. Since the Merger, he has served as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee (from January 2016 through May 2018) and as Chairman of the Audit Committee (from May 2018 through the end of 2018). Prior to the Merger, Mr. Ganzi served on the legacy Towers Watson board of directors, where he served as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee since January 2010. Mr. Ganzi is presently a consultant and corporate director, serving on the boards of numerous private and not-for-profit organizations, including PGA Tour, Inc., the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club. Mr. Ganzi previously served as the President and CEO of The Hearst Corporation, a private diversified communications company, from 2002 to 2008. He served as Hearst’s Executive Vice President from 1997 to 2002 and as its COO from 1998 to 2002. Prior to joining Hearst in 1990, Mr. Ganzi was the managing partner at the international law firm of Rogers & Wells (now part of Clifford Chance) and, prior to that, practiced as a certified public accountant in taxation at a Big Four accounting firm. Mr. Ganzi previously served as a director of several public companies, including Gentiva Health Services, Inc., Wyeth and Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. Mr. Ganzi graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a B.S. in Accounting, received a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and holds an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University.
