Mr. Weitz manages the Partners III Opportunity Fund and co-manages the Partners Value Fund and Hickory Fund, each of which is managed by Weitz Investment Management. Mr. Weitz has served as a Trustee of the Weitz Funds since 1986. Mr. Weitz began his career in New York as a securities analyst before joining Chiles, Heider & Co. in Omaha, Nebraska in 1973.
